About Your Presenter
Janet Law is a passionate educator and author. Over the last 16 years, she has worked with over 300 children and helped numerous children in preschools to master basic reading skills and fostering a love of reading in them. She is most widely known for developing the 3 secret strategies to unleashing the inner scholars in children. Using her system, parents will enable their children to feel empowered to learn in an enriching and engaging way without feeling pressured to perform.
Janet holds a Master in Education (special needs) degree and is an active community volunteer. Among her goals is to help children read better and enjoy learning. She firmly believes that learning for children should not be teary but cheery, and certainly can be less stressful but more joyful. She has also been recognized by the National Library Board and the Chinese Development Assistance Council of Singapore for her lifelong commitment to helping children love reading.

Traditionally, children have been expected to get good grades at school. This had been the primary aim of every child and considered a societal norm. Being pressured in this way, the real purpose of getting an education has eluded children and, in the process, they have increasingly started to become estranged even from their own parents.
The author gathered insights on the matter from her personal life. After years of working with children to have them unleash their ability and love to read, this book came into existence in its full splendor. It is a blueprint for implementing the top 3 secret strategies for having each child develop their reading ability while feeling empowered to love reading and learning.
Being fully engaged in what they learned made children feel empowered and develop a genuine interest in performing at their best while feeling more connected to their surroundings. This book was developed to facilitate both parents and educators in working closely with children thereby helping bring out the inner scholar and cheerful learner in them.
